    FAMILY ADVOCACY TREATMENT MANAGER (LCSW)

    Locations:

      Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska
      Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan

    We are currently recruiting for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with two years full-time post-Master's degree experience (within the last three years) in professional clinical counseling service programs to men, women, and children who are abusive or abused.

    The Family Advocacy Treatment Manager (FATM) is be the primary provider of treatment services for assigned maltreatment and prevention cases, coordinating services for families and monitoring client participation and progress utilizing the modalities of social casework, psychotherapy, and psycho-educational interventions.

    The FATM is a member of the multidisciplinary Family Advocacy Program (FAP) team and works in the following prioritized capacities:

    • The maltreatment component to assess families referred for suspected maltreatment and treats individuals, families, and groups whose maltreatment allegation(s) met criteria for maltreatment
    • The New Parent Support Program (NPSP) to provide voluntary, comprehensive prevention services (primarily home-based) to families to prevent the occurrence of family maltreatment

    The FATM shall meet with each military (Active Duty) "offender" who has "met criteria" at least once a month and document all follow-up actions. The FATM shall also meet with each adult "victims" of met criteria cases and document all findings.

    The FATM shall present the findings from the family assessment, the Central Registry Board (CRB) determination and recommendations for treatment to the Clinical Case Staffing (CCS).

    The FATM shall coordinate with prevention staff regarding referrals to educational services as part of the intervention plan.

    Required Qualifications:

    • License: Must be a U.S. licensed clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Education: Master's degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited school
    • Experience: Two years full-time post-Master's degree experience (within the last three years) in professional clinical counseling service programs to men, women, and children who are abusive or abused. Must also have experience as a group therapy facilitator or co-leader. Experience working with professionals and agencies that provide community support and counseling intervention services to children and families.

     

    MATERNAL CHILD HEALTH NURSE/ HOME HEALTH NURSE (BSN)

    Locations:

      Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska
      Kadena Air Force Base, Japan

    Skills/Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
    • Two years' experience (within the last four years) as a Community Health Nurse and/or Maternal Child Health nursing, or direct experience in child abuse and/or domestic abuse
    • In-home visitation experience is a plus

    The Family Advocacy Nurse (FAN) is a member of the multidisciplinary Family Advocacy Program (FAP) team and is responsible for providing comprehensive home-based prevention services to families to prevent child and partner maltreatment

    The FAN is responsible for remaining current in relevant areas of maternal/child and family violence nursing practice, and shall provide nursing home-based services that include education, support, and anticipatory guidance in such areas as growth and development across the life span, nutrition, parenting, attachment/bonding, individual and family health related issues, family violence dynamics, problem solving, family communication skills and bereavement

     

    INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEMS DESIGNER

    We are currently seeking experienced Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) with multiple levels of experience for creating, modifying, and enhancing a diverse amount of technical training (instructor-led, web-based, and blended) solutions. This is a full-time "on-site" position at our metro-accessible Washington, DC office.

    Skills/Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree required.

    Instructional Designer college curricula must include work in the area of instructional systems design, learning theory, instructional methods, statistics, training analysis, research methodology, tests and measurement, cognitive or educational psychology, and educational evaluation. Demonstrated application of sound instructional design practices and experience in designing/developing training solutions in multiple formats (classroom, CBT, WBT, CD-ROM, VCT, simulation) required.

    • Skilled in applying all phases of the ISD process including all types of training analysis (occupational, gap, job, and task analysis, etc.), selecting appropriate training technologies and methods in the education setting
    • Knowledge of performance training methods, media, and material in order to develop training curriculums and capabilities of different authoring tools and media
    • Ability to evaluate the adequacy of existing training programs and curricula; propose recommendations for improvement
    • Ability to create and evaluate guidance on instructional design, elearning, and media selection, as well as make recommendations on newer elearning tools for the agency
    • Applies learning theory, instructional theory, and applications to instructional strategies and instructional media options
    • Ability to align learning and performance objectives with appropriate media and elearning options
    • Skilled in complex research and analysis in curricula and job training
    • Skilled in report writing and template design
    • Must possess high attention to detail

    Responsibilities:

      Instructional Design:
    • Partner with client Subject Matter Experts to obtain information, training objectives, and write/edit/validate training content
    • Determine the proper blend of instructor-led, hands-on, and web-based training to be used in a given solution
    • Use innovative learning methodologies such as case studies, engaging stories, and specific scenarios to reflect content, audience, and business needs
    • Actively research and recommend innovative training tools and technologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions
    • Create detailed instructional plans
    • Create detailed storyboards
    • Develop assessment strategies, including instructive feedback
    • Recommend and present training solutions that maximize benefits to customers
    • Ensure overall quality of the training deliverables exceeds customer expectations

    Training Effectiveness:

    Evaluate the effectiveness of training by developing and implementing post-instruction evaluation tools and criteria

    Project Management:

    • Lead small teams of ISDs/IDs, multimedia developers, and graphics artists
    • Manage and work on multiple complex training projects concurrently
    • Collaborate with the Program/Project Manager to define and meet project milestones, communicate issues and risks in a timely manner, and manage customer expectations

     

    GAME DEVELOPER

    We are currently seeking experienced game developers with multiple levels of experience to create games (web and mobile) for multimedia training materials. Game developers will be responsible for Javascript programming to create actions, link scenes, and create user navigation. This is a full-time "on-site" position at our metro-accessible Washington, DC office.
