20 YearsMichael is responsible for coordinating the full spectrum of management activities and contract development solutions for the ASI Family Advocacy Services contract portfolio. Michael is a retired Air Force Major, having served a combined 23 years in the US Army and then the US Air Force.
Michael is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and possesses nearly three decades of experience delivering quality of life programs and mental health services within the military community as well as the civilian sector.

He brings recognized expertise in military behavioral health, family maltreatment, and substance abuse issues as reflected in multiple senior leadership roles.
Background
In addition to his various positions as Family Advocacy Officer, ADAPT Element Chief, and Mental Health Flight Commander, Michael has presented at numerous international and regional conferences representing the USAF Medical Services as well as the behavioral health profession. Michael currently resides in Alaska with his spouse and four children where he is an active in his community as a Red Cross volunteer.
